Replacing the external services chest

Post by Herbliverett »

Hello:
Since I still cannot get the hydraulics to work, and the external services chest is pretty frozen up, can someone let me know if the part on the attached link is the correct one to use to perform this replacement?

Thank you.
It would be great to have the hydraulics working

The one on your link doesn't look the same as an original (part no E167-GF-9), but might work? I suggest you email Peter Smith at Forge Services. He is pretty helpful.

I would be tempted to find a 2nd hand original.

That is the chest for the '000nd series and nothing like the Dexta or Super Major one. That one has no flow control valve.

A good second hand one from a Super Major or Dexta is your best bet.

Can't remember, have you had the lift off and checked the unload valve, the position control pin and settings? All more likely candidates for a lift not working.
