Stop Cable

Hi,

I am fitting the pull to stop cable to my dexta at the moment, but am puzzled as to how I stop the outer cable moving instead of the inner cable!
Surely there must be something to hold the outer black cable somewhere? But I cannot see it!

Can anyone help...

Mark

there is a nut to be fitted on the pull assy. inside the casing, this prevents the outer part from moving. then only the inner wire will move. :D

Hi. Yes I realise that, however it's the other end at the injector pump I'm thinking about.

Hi, Marcusgs
There is supposed to be a bracket that fit's to the rear of the injector pump this has a small clamp to secure the outer cable.
Hope this helps.
Llanfair.

I looked at that bracket on mine the other day and thought mine looked like some sort of bodge-up. It obviously is how it is supposed to be.
Mine is attached with the two small screws going through two pieces, much like woodruff keys, laid on their side with holes drilled through them. On the other side of the three injector pipes are another two drilled and threaded 'woodruff keys' laid on their side. The four 'woodruff keys' nestle into the spaces between the three injector pipes and are clamped up with the two screws.
Hope that helps..... I was going to take a picture but it got dark before I remembered.
