Hi There I hope I'm not stating the obvious to you but have you checked the oil level in the back end ? If its low the lift wont work. My Super Dexta has the same fault at the moment but thats all I have had time to check so far.
Some of the guys on here will be able to confirm this but I think the oil pump is behind a round plate at the side of the back end and there is a filter on the bottom of it. It could be blocked.

Its not as simple as that if the oil level is OK, you have to diagnose the problem before starting to get stuck in. 8)

First check if you have oil from the pump. Remove the Auxiliary Service Chest and see if oil comes up from the feed pipe when you operate the starter, simple test: put your thumb over the pipe and see if you can feel a build up of pressure. DO NOT ALLOW THE ENGINE TO START, otherwise it will get very messy! :D

If possible, borrow an Auxiliary Service Chest from a tractor with a working lift. If your lift works with this fitted then your fault is in the Flow Control Valve.

These tests will help eliminate the pump. From then on the top will have to come off.

I am just sorting the hydraulics out on mine. I am reporting progress in the 'Newbie and a few Questions' thread.
The pump is behind / part of the round plate on the right hand side.
I will take a picture of mine as I have the top off.
Edit: Pic..
Right hand side is at the bottom of the picture, aluminium thing is the pump, 'bean tin' on the left hand side is the oil strainer into the pump.
The filter on the right hand side is on the return back into the casing to catch debris coming into the system.
Note the gunge in the bottom I still need to wash out.

I think the smaller part here is what Brian is talking about?...
