could someone help me i bought headlights for my super dexta grill mounted . when fitted the sit out to far past the grill.I was wondering is there a slim fitting headlight and where can i purchase them as the ones i have are not right. Has anybody out there encountered this problem. Thanks in advance for any info on this subject.

I am sure they do stick out past the grills, mine do anyway and they look the business

Sounds like you have got lights for an older standard Dexta with lights mounted either side of the nose cowl. You need grill-mounted lights for Supers and 'new look' standard Dextas which are slimmer.

My lights also stick out past the grille and they are genuine butlers ones.

Lights used for side mounting : Left Hand = 957E-13003 / Right Hand = 957E-13002

Lights used for mounting inside grill : LH = RH = D2NN-13005

These headlights are not that thick but are still sticking out of the grill.

I was lucky to find original grill mounted head-lamps.
