Hi,

I'm having trouble adjusting my hydraulics. I've taken the top cover off about 8 times now and I refuse to do it any more until I know exactly what i'm doing!

I've just stolen the picture below from someone else's post on the forum (many thanks to whoever it was, hope you don't mind!)

I've been reading that the reason most people can't adjust properly is because of a worn pin somewhere, but I can't work out which one it is from the description and the photo in the previous post



Can anyone clarify please?

Looking at the photograph you can just see the end of the pin just above the edge of the cover below the diagonal lever.

The pin acts on the cam which you can just see in the lower right of the photo. To renew it you really need to strip the cover down.

The replacement pin is 0.309" in dia x 7/8" long.

Both of you are stars, Mark for putting up the picture andGerald for the dimensions. My top is currently with the New Holland repair shop and I was chatting to them about that same pin, but did not know where it was. Now I know thanks again.

cfp cam follower pin

i slapped some grease on the area on re assemberly not sure it helped but made me feel good

mine was off loads of times too , heavy aint it .

Yes it's a beast, luckily I have it suspended from my overhead winch which makes life easier!

i put a bolt / chain in one of the threaded holes for the seat , and block un tackle above .

to heavy to man draulic i tink

did it by hand first time but thats a bit stupid tbh

to many things to brake .
