Can any of you knowledgeable guys out there tell me how to remove the power take off engagement leaver? It seems to be on a taper pin with a nut & washer. It wont budge and i don’t want to damage the thread. It needs to come off to replace the clutch pedal bush. Many thanks :?:

Once you have taken the nut off I'd just a punch and tap the pin out from the front side so it goes out the rear side, try a little bit of heat maybe, as a second thort coil you tighten the nut up and try with some grips to turn the pin and try and find a "easy spot"

The cotter pin has a taper and a shoulder that lines up with both the Lever and the shaft.
Loosen the nut a turn or two and give it a tap and the pin should go backwards.
Before you loosen it I suggest you mark the lever and shaft as well as the end of the cotter pin so that you can line them up when refitting .
Cheers

Great job done, footplate off and some heat and a sharp tap with a lump hammer knocked out the taper pin. thanks for the info.
