The guard came free with the Dexta when bought back in April, the only bad point was the bolts that pass through the front axle had at some point in its past life been snapped off and then the shank of the bolts welded into the axle. Great weekends worth of work drilling them out with small pilot drill first, then increasing in size up to the final size of 16mm. New unf bolts now in place and all is well.

Were these guards standard fit? Did a particular company make them or did many Dexta owners fabricate their own? I have seen a number of different designs.

Not sure if guards were standard fit, might have been supplied as part of a loader kit or just home made, The one shown in the photo's can be altered so that it sits flat and could be used to carry items, maybe a weight of some sort? will post a photo of it in the other position soon.
