Hydraulic pump/flange oil leak

I have a long standing weap of oil from the hydraulic pump/flange; just above the right hand side foot rest which now has become a dribble, so I need to replace the gasket and internal O ring; 1958 Dexta farm condition in regular use about 400 hrs per yr.

The imperial O ring is not a problem but i can'nt seem to source the gasket; FNH have discontinued the part and the other 'usual' spare part suppliers also can'nt supply.

Before any one asks the secuuring bolts/set screws have been checked for tightness.

Is making a new gasket from gasket paper a realiable fix or should I use some form of instant gasket ?

Why not make yourself a gasket then install with a thin bead of Hylomar?

Thanks guys for your advice, now to source some gasket paper

Will try to post some pictures of the repair in progress

Hopefully will be sorted in the next week once the hay is gathered in; unbelievabily in West Somerset we have missed the recent rain and the grass cut on Tuesday (17th July) should be ready for baling on Monday; exceptionally heavy crop this yr
