Hello

Is anyone able to recommend an engineer based in Norfolk who would carry out an "on site" visit to repair my Dexta's hydraulics? I am based North of Norwich.

The arms only lift about half way up in position control, and will lift to the top in qualitrol, if you hold the selector lever vertical.

Hi, have you checked the oil level in the transmission, we had a typical situation with a Ford 3600 tractor where the hydraulics would not stay up. We checked the oil level and found it very low. Filled up with plus minus 20 litres of oil and bingo no problem. On the right side of your tractor transmission below the seat there is a SQUARE HEADED BOLT with four sides NOT the six sided bolt, remove it and if the oil level is correct oil will trickle out the hole. If the oil is low obviously nothing will flow out. Behind the seat you will find a large flatish bolt, that is where you will need to top up your transmisssion oil. Once the oil starts to flow out the side hole where you removed the square bolt, screw the bolt back. Very simple good luck

So near and yet so far!!!! I would love to come over and sort it out but we will be on our way to Australia next month and I am tied up with lifting potatoes and onion plus preparing everything for winter.

I do not know anyone who I would recommend, most of my contacts are retired and no longer in the trade, more like a rest home now ,
