Just finishing restoring my 1964 super dexta will post photos when finished.JUst getting new number plates for it and the number is faded on the old tax book .It seems to start with ENG .does anybody know what part of the country this comes from . Thanking you

the license plate ending in NG originates in Norfolk, probably Norwich

If you can get the full number, you could write to the Norfolk CC archivists saying it's for a Fordson, and they should be able to tell you the registration date and first owner. They may then be able to formally issue this number to your tractor.

Do you guys over there take your Dexta's out for a drive in the country?? I do that some here and with an amazing top gear, I often go 20 miles or more....its really a fun way to enjoy my tractor....I assume thats why you need a REG number??

I made a carrying box which goes on the back to carry my dog with me. We go for runs in the countryside when the weather is good but this year it's been so wet, this has been slightly curtailed. how ever , we still go around the village where I live almost every day,great fun and most people give us a wave.
