super dexta throtle setting

is there a proper setting of the throtle on the s/dexta
and what ever you think is about right
, what is the right tick over and at full throtle
what should the rev be , the pump is 4588 type pump,

Sky blue, my Super Dexta idles at 600rpm and has full throttle at about 2150rpm. New Performance Super Dextas have full throttle at 3000rpm. Also mentioned somewhere some Super Dextas have been opened up to 2600rpm, apparently without any adverse effects

NPSD is rated to 2450 rpm and SD is 2200 mIdle is 550-600

with this info ill have to try and get this set
properly, it revs up ok but the idle seems to come down so far and then the
rod sticks, the hand throtle is fully up but to get it idle properly i have to get off and
push rod behind the pump forward this reduces it to a nice tick over,

My super dex idles at 600 rpms and is a very pleasant and smooth idle.... I could idle around the orchard all day long and drink cold ones if there wasnt so much work to be done..... hehehe On the other end of the spectrum I have to run it at 2300 rpms to get the proper voltage out of my PTO powered AC generator.... This being said, I am using a reproduction tach made in India.. Not sure if its accurate....
