Dexta gearbox

Hi i have just renewed all the bearings in my 58 dexta and on reasembly realised that the two thrust washers on the main shaft are missing must have been lost during a earlier rebuild, does anyone know where i would be able to obtain replacements from thanks in advance

Have you tried Bertie Dunlop or Malcolm Hipperson?

Try New Holland Parts. I think they are still available from them.

I have looked on dunlop tractor spares website and have found no indication of them if anyone knows of the thickness etc of them i could manufacture them myself

Suggest you email Dunlops, they have lots of stuff not on their website. Also he might offer you advice.

I have spoken with Dunlop tractor spares they can only get them from dealers at (wait for it) £62 + VAT EACH!! Madness or what does anyone know the thickness of these washers so i can make my own?
