slow lift arms

hi , this is my second post about the littel dexta
sometimes the lift arms wont raise when i raise the controls,
they only lift when i take off in gear and move the tractor. when its idle it wont raise.
what could be causing this
also when i have the tractor on a rotavator, a 4ft howard. the pto keeps jumping out of gear when it hits any hard spots.
i have to hold it back with my hand but wit eventually jumps out again when it hits hard ground.
where is the inspection plate on the tractor to see the workings of the pto selector.
any help on either of the two would be brilliant.

hi Mochara, are you moving control right to the end of travel ? Also try a wee bit more revs. of the engine :scratchhead:

ah ye i am doing that alright brian , all the way up to the top , bit more revs doesnt do anything , its only when i start releasing the clutch to move it and it comes all the way up then pretty fast;
i am more concerned about the pto , did you have a look about that for me ,
it keeps jumping out of gear with the rotavator every time it hits hard ground.
