Is there much water coming out of the crack or is it just a drop? I suppose if it just a small crack you could drill a small hole at each end of crack. Then open crack abit and fill it with jb weld. To remove injecter pump you would open the timing inspection cover and mark the timing gear and timing cover with ink so that it aline. Then undue 5 nuts that holding pump and it should slide out. When putting pump back just aline ink that you marked is aline and job done!

hi i replyed but the computer went just as i submited, , it can be a bit fustrating
when you are waiting for a reply as i well know but usally someone will get back to you.
there are 5 bolts, the back and the bottom are really awkward, make sure
you have a gasket or at least gasket paper of the right thickness when replacing the
pump just incase old one gets damaged :) good luck sky blue

Thanks for all replies!! Aye the crack extends between both core plugs  I am hoping to tackle it again during the week. Pump removal was OK, even found all the nuts!! Cheers , Rich.
