Hi,

Does anyone know what the type size of thread on the steering box filler is?

Alternatively, does anyone have a spare screw?

I want to try and put a grease nipple in, and fill my steering box with liquid grease

I have a spare steering box on a tractor I am still dismantling after a few years..am finally getting round to stripping the last of three for spares.

When I do get around to it, I can check the thread for you, and let you know the type. Why not simply take the old screw down to your local suppliers and match the old thread to the nipples they have.
