				Taking loader arms off

Hi Guys, I want to remove the arms to make it easier to work on the Dexta. Do the rams stay with the arms or the frame?
It would be better access if they stayed with the arms. If I do that do I have to drain the hydraulic oil or just close the valve under the front of the seat? Sorry for the dumb questions but you have to start somewhere

Thanks
John

				John
Go to the top of this topics page where Brian has just placed my scans of the Steelfab loader which may give you the info you want, also see the recent topic on the loader as there was a mention there too.
Regards

Much easier if you keep the rams with the frame - that way you don't have to touch the hydraulics, just be sure you keep the oil feed to the rams closed.
Just tie the rams back against the frame to stop them flapping around.
Of course if you never ever want to use the loader again, might as well remove it completely.
