i have the petrol dexta with a single stage clutch. can i upgrade to double clutch (live pto)? what would i need to purchase ?

into the dexta specs it sais the live pto double clutch was optional

Possible but quite a bit of work.

A single clutch is stronger and simpler than a double so swapping may not be worth it, depending on what you want to do.

wanted to blow snow but i think im just as well off to buy another tractor

To convert involves quite a lot of expense unless you have a donor tractor. You need to replace the gearbox, clutch and possibly rear axle depending on the age of your donor and receiver tractors. In all honesty, yes it is possible but another tractor might be the best way.

You cannot have too many Fordsons.
