Hi Sky Blue, i don't know what you mean exactly, but the Dexta can lift about 625 kilograms, some 1250 pounds with the lift arms.
Of course with an extra tool, which may put the load further away from the rear axle, this max. weight becomes less.
Hope it helps.
Regards, Rob.

I think you mean "What weight in a trailer connected to a Dexta, can you tip?"
This will depend upon the trailer.
The Dexta hydraulics should produce about 2200psi, so depending on what ram your trailer has, and how you load the trailer, you will be able to tip more or less weight. Perhaps not the answer you wanted! Suggest you suck it and see.

thanks marcsgus for your input does this seem like a
hydrulic problem as the dexta has no problem lifting the mc connel back actor i have and carrying
it and this weighs approx 700kgs ,the hyds seem good enough ,could it be ram on trailer the problem
as this is pretty old same age as trailer i supose , sky blue

after doing abit of surffing the web it seems this problem is not uncommon ,the dexta should
be able to tip 2ton ,but it may also have something to do with loading of trailer
it always helps to keep most of the load over back end of trailer, with 2ton on
trailer of say sand laid flat on bed would be a strugle , with most at back of trailer
it gives just enough for it to start to lift , first couple or inches taks the most presure
some have had to help the start with a lump
of wood or steel bar, sky blue

I know that this tractor is not a dexta, however with good hydraulic pressure you should be able to achieve this...

R the video, I wouldn't like to drive that trailer far with a load!
You are talking here of using two large rams to do the tipping.
The most effort required would be the start of the lift as the mechanical (dis)advantage is at it's worst.
An old Ram with poor/worn seals would be the problem also.

thanks gerry for you input, i have been thinking the same about the twin rams .
must give it at least double or more lifting power
before i do any thing ill have to get me a lend of a new trailer an put 3 or 4 ton on
and see if its trailer or tractor, ill let ya all no how it works out

The amount it will tip is dependent on the rams fitted to the trailer...it would tip much more if the correct rams were used
