Clearly you will need to devise a bracket on which to mount your trailer socket. Then just google on the wiring diagram for your chosen socket (typically a 7-pin '12N' socket in UK) and decide which lights you have and wish to wire to your trailer - eg you may not have a brake light on your tractor, so clearly you can't wire this up. Perhaps in your case it will just be runnning night lights + L/R indicators. Then just take a parallel feed from each of your chosen lighting circuits to the corresponding pin on your trailer socket. Don't forget the earth!

				Hi Sky Blue
If you look at the top of the dexta pages you'll see an entry called "Wiki shortcut, home page link and torque settings". Go into this and as you scroll down you will see an article I wrote about modernising you Dexta's electrics. This may be of use to you.
Cheers
Jerry

hi gerry, had seen your wiring digrams, good stuff and you have put abit
of time into it , but as usual my wiring is all bits and bobs as you do.
try to make do with what yo have and never seem to get it perfact,

the towing socket i bought was a 7 wire which was to many for all that i need
the board type ihave with lights ect is a seven wire with
just 5 beening used an was wired slightly different ,
so iam in the process of trying to get this sorted , this is not as easy as i thought,
but ithink ihave got it sussed now , time will tell , i think ill keep the fire department number handy
