hello all
I'm pondering removing the check valve seat again .
has anyone seen, used , got the correct tool for pulling it out / pushing it back in ??
I'm planning to make one ?
suggestions please

how strong , critical is the spring , I haven't lost it , just wondering how much force it should be pushing with , if its week could it cause my leak ??

does anyone know what thread the check valve plug is ? it isn't 3/4 bsp , it's a tiny bit thinner ??
my local highly trusted engineers supply's have no idea what thread it is
been to many suppliers today , no joy . I think i'll have to drill the original , then tap it for a grub screw to seal it after ?
I wanted a plug to try to make a re fitting tool ?
should be able to pull the seat tomorrow , but it still LOOKS fine .
got the bolts to screw into the seat .
