Great pictures, Frans!!
I like those Unimogs! :D

That O&K tractors looks pretty rare to me. I have never heard of these tractors. I thought O&K only made loaders and excavators.

Pascal,

O&K made tractors from 1954 on. Rare in Holland. I would love to have one of those Eicher Geratetrager. And yes one of those Unimogs.
Do you folks know why there are green and red Porches? Beside that brand also Hanomag and Schluter used two colours.

Hi,

Two colours (or even more) are used for tractors for the german market and for export markets.

For example, in the early 1950ies, Hanomags were painted dark green for Germany home market, and bright red for some export countries. Later on, the green changed a little bit and later again, and someday, the red export colour was dropped.

Porsche/Allgaier had the same system I'm told.

For as far as I know, O&K did make tractors even earlier. They made a tractor in and just before the 2nd WW whith standard air compressor on board and pressure tanks on the rear mudguards. Seen a picture in a book lately.

Best regards

Emiel
