Shrewsbury Show next weekend

Post by Brian »

Mark just rang to remind me that it is show time again. I had forgotten so it is rush time to get a room etc.

Look out for us if your going!

We shall be wearing the "Fordson Tractor Club of Australia" hat and shirt on the Sunday. Come and say "Hello" if you see us.

I'm not getting a lot of time to write up things. Our Franeker trip is still being worked on along with last Chrismas's Memory!

The show was a little disappointing as there were a lot of stands missing after the bad weather last year.

I agree with Brian - the number of stalls was very disappointing compared to last year but I really enjoyed viewing the tractors in the ring. There were some really nice Dextas and one that was built for use on the road with additional hydraulic brakes and front mud guards. The owner said it would go to 30mph - now that's a frightening thought!
As usual people were really friendly and we had some very interesting conversations about tractors as well as other things.
I would certainly recommend a visit.

Andy
