How's life these days in NSW, Meanderer? Just yesterday my eldest son asked me about Sydney. As usual, one question led to a crossfire of detailed inquiries. Is Sydney beautiful (yes)? What is your fav spot there (South Head, Watson's Bay area, The Gap)? Aren't there a lot of skyscrapers there (only in downtown)? Are the plants different there (yes)? And the animals (yes)?

Man, I miss it. I miss taking the ferry to Manly, across the harbour on a beautiful day. I miss strolling around the Blue Mountains. I miss the snow-white beaches of Queensland. I miss the solitude of Arnhem Land. I miss the streetcars in Melbourne.

Otherwise, I'm happy :) .

Happy Birthday Oscar, how many candles will they have to put on your cake? I hope you got another great guitar for a present.
