I was watching the news today and saw where Russia turned the Natural Gas off for most parts of Europe. I was concerned that some of my friends and their families are without heat. I do hope and pray that you and your families are warm. If you can let us know how things are.

We here in Finland have our own pipe and this is not having any effect on us, (tecnically).
We use gas for heating in the factory where I am working but we have oil as backup. At home I use firewood.

No problems in Holland (yet). We don't depend on Russian gas very much. The worst problems are in Eastern European countries such as Bulgaria - they're hit hard. Germany has a bit of trouble too.

That's good to know, thanks for getting back to me. I don't see how Russia can do what they do, but then again one has to understand the history of what they've done in the past.

hi all
germany`s problem is not so big.the import from russia is about
ca.25-30%,that`s ok.and we have the biggest natural gas storagetank of europa.this thing is 30 km frome my home.
that thing is in earth, the incommong gas is push with a pressure
about 80-90 bar in the earth from the pipelines, and they can the gas
deliver to the homecustumers for ca. 3 month
and if the russian cut the gas pipeline for ever, here in germany we
have gas in the earth too.where i live, there are so many compressingstations and pipelines and new drillings, gas cleaningstations etc.
excuse my bad english writing, but i hope you know what i mean.
