Storing an Injector Pump

Now that I have more injector pumps than I have Majors ( for now

), I need to store one. Brian has said that they are supposed to be filled with a special Shell oil for storage. I don't have any of that type of oil, so I plugged all of the openings, filled it with ATF, wrapped it in a plastic bag, put it in a box, and put it in a dry, well-ventilated storage area. Do you guys think that will work, or do you have some better ideas?

HI have a vacum type dexta pump iwould to put in storage where do i flll it up with oil

Take off the side cover, lay it on its back and fill it up. I also pumped oil in the fuel inlet hole, until it came out of the bleed hole, but I don't suppose that's absolutely necessary.
