Gasket Sealer?

Gasket Sealer?

Should I coat new gaskets for the water pump & thermostat housing with a bit of sealer before I bolt them up? Or is the gasket by itself enough?

yes, definitely use gasket sealer as you do not want a water leak in future. it would mean redoing the job once again :)

id use a non setting one , blue hylamar , works for me .
Some mornings I wake up grumpy, but most mornings I let her sleep in.
