fordson major engine stand

hi does anybody know how much a fordson major engine weighs off hand
i want to build an engine stand to take a fordson engine all other stand seem to low for me

can any body help

I'd say around 800lbs.
I have recently built a stand for one and it makes things a lot easier especially if you only wish to remove the crankshaft.
Check out "Engine Stand For Dexta Block" in "Tools and Implements", should give you some ideas.

thanks for the reply ive just looked at the dexta weight i will build one to take over 800lb
