That should be a 9/16" UNEF (extra fine) thread . little bit hard to count, but 24 threads per inch seems correct. Makes it around 14-15mm in diameter.

The hole at the end is about 9mm diameter.

I just found out that they had a similar stuff from CRC at the lokal gas station. 10€ but fast and easy to get. I bought one to try it, but so far i had no problems dismantling the dexta.[/quote]

thanks for that Nils its a great help i will measure up the plunger i have. i think it will be fitted soon as my lift is being a bit of a pain.
