6D engine?

Hi guys i have just got possesion of a 6 cylinder Ford engine.I have 2 Majors with 6 cylinders but they are different as they have shafts from the fuel pumps.This engine has not shaft and has the following numbers on it-688F 6090 GAA anD PB and T4 then 703f-6015-BA hope someone can help identify this engine.Craig

Do you have any pictures of your 6 cylinder Majors?

You have a 2700 series engine, the others with the shafts are 590 series.

I remember reading that the 6D is the same as the 590E. Is it?
