Hi again,
I had noticed a small leak from the fuel filter so today I thought I'd take it off and have a look. Managed to cover myself with diesel and discovered there was no filter in there !!!
I have found a couple of filters on Ebay, one with a 20mm hole, one with a 33mm hole
the 20mm wouldn't fit, are there other sizes or do I get the 33mm filter?
Had a quick search on the forum for fuel filters and read a couple of times about a cold start button ?????? what is this ????
Thanks

Re: Fuel filter
How about a photo so we can see what you have? Not having a filter at all is very bad. Dandy Dave!

Re: Fuel filter
I see three different filters listed which I take it you already know. I'm not sure where in the world you are because this does make a difference. I assume that your tractor is not a Super as you have the earlier style lift pump.
This should eliminate Filter number E1ADDN99162C used from Feb. 1st, 1963- Dec 31, 1964 which is a Super filter
That leaves a choice of two....
Number E202Z9, used January, 1st of 53, to December, 31st ,1956 is for North America Models only. If you tractor is between these years and a North American export model this may be it.
If NOT a North American export, Most likely your filter should be this number. 1st, Jan, 1952 and up is part number 86546622.
The only other thing is if your housing has been changed for a different model year. For that you would need a part number off of the housing to determine. Part numbers are via New Holland Ag parts lookup website. Dandy Dave!
