dexta draft control wont lift?

hi all,i have been ploughing a few acres with my dexta yesterday,everything was going well until i reached the end and the lift simply failed to raise up. i pulled the draft lever back up so it was in position control and it raised first time...i tried the draft control again and its working fine ( i can see the lift moving up and down) but still it wont raise up! i did a search but couldnt find anything like the symptoms ive got.
any help would be much appreciated as im not really clued up on hydraulics.

Set the lift in Draft Control and lift the lever to the top of the quadrant. Then gently push the Draft Selector towards the axle. If lift raises then you have adjustment issues and possibly a worn Position Control follower pin.
