Hello to all. I hope to get to my oil change this weekend on my Power Major and was wondering if there was any type of engine flush that could be done. I feel/know the sump needs cleaning. I don't have the time to take her apart ( and don't want to) but was thinking I had read about flushing the sump. I flushed the trans and rear end when I changed oil in them although have forgotten if it was diesel or kerosene, used whatever was recommended on here for that but would not think you would use either on engine. Thanks for any advice. Good luck to everyone and hope all is well.

Re: Oil Change
Hi Gerald
Up here North of the 49th we can get some motor flush stuff in parts stores to pour in the old oil then run the motor for a while, then drain it out when you do the oil and filter. I use it to flush the motor oil once in a while on my GM 1/2 ton when the lifters start to stick
. you should be able to find something like that in the U.S Im thinking
.

Re: Oil Change
Thanks Robert. I'm not a mechanic and don't want to damage my engine. I know there are engine flushes at auto parts store, just trying to be careful not to use wrong thing that is not good for these old engines. Thanks again, your advice is always appreciated.
