Fordson Power Major

Post by BrianWA »

Hi there - introducing myself: Brian from WA, Australia. Have a Power Major (dribbling from the 'pigtail') and a Super Major (slow to activate 3PL after starting). I joined up after finding information gleaned on the web, from my namesake 'Brian' on this site. Look forward to discussions from clearly experienced users. I remember reading an article where in UK in response to some farmer's call, a Fordson mechanic simply went out to the machine in the paddock, broke it apart in the open weather, made the repairs and thought nothing of it. Can't get that service now, is my experience.

To paraphrase someone else on this board ... That's not incontinence, it's just marking its territory.

My FPM leaves its mark in the shed also. Does not drip enough to worry about for now. I add a little oil here and there about twice a year. Dandy Dave!
Have a Fordsonful day Folks!
