Gear selector gates.

Hello,i am in the process of renovating my fordson npsd gearbox.There is no problem with the gears,its just the selector rail gates (where the gear lever slots in to) are badly worn causing the tractor to get stuck in gear.I am struggling to find any at the moment,if anyone knows where to find some or knows someone who deals with similar parts could you please let me know,cheers

the problem is normally with the gear lever which will be worn with use. You need to weld onto bottom of gear lever to build it up to right size again then buff down to tidy it up,thats what I had to do with mine anyway.Surely someone will come in and tell you exactly what to do as I cannot remember 100 percent

Cheers for the reply.I have already done that and it was alot better then it was but it slip slipped out between the selectors.They are very worn,i might even lookout for a another gearbox or even a early higher ratio one for better road speed.
