2 Pac paint either chipping or peeling

Please help, I obviously am not doing something properly using 2 Pac paint. At the slightest knock the paint chips and now recently tightening up the nuts holding the trumpet axle housing to the transmission housing I've noticed the paint peeling.

Have a word with the paint suppliers.

I've got both 2-pack & one-pot on my Dexta. 2-pack dries a lot quicker, but no probs with either thus far

I shall do so, thanks Ben. With regards the peeling I feel I may not have removed all of the grime and possibly applying the paint coats a trifle thick.

Yes prep is pretty important, esp degreasing. Useful thread here by Pat:

Both chipping and peeling can be from the wrong Primer being allpied undernieth. The clean metal must be primed with the correct primer for the topcoat to stick for the long run. Good advise above in talking with the paint supplier.

Primer is so very important....
