Can someone please tell me if this clutch pedal stop is standard on a 1960 non live drive tractor, or has someone added it to keep the pedal at a comfortable height
It was like that when I found it.... & I wish I had left it alone!
I intend to split the tractor shortly to check the clutch plate and also renew the seals in the housing.
If your sure the stop is not supposed to be there, I will remove it then and then adjust up as normal and see what happens.
I suspect the clutch will adjust but the pedal will be fairly high.
Jamie.

Have a look at the parts list & clutch section of the workshop manual.
I cant find the part in question in the parts book (online '59 dexta), but looking has thrown up another question.
I also have a '61 live drive dexta and in the '59 parts book on the clutch components page, it shows an external clutch return helper spring for the lpto option. My live drive tractor does not have this, so has everyone with a live drive got this external spring fitted
